  Who We Are
Hui Laulima (groups working together) is a consortium of West Hawaii’s
major health and human service providers, faith base groups, community association,
business, government and concern individuals which was formed in September
1999 to encourage collaboration particularly around matters affecting youth.
Approximately 57 organization and individuals in West Hawaii comprise Hui
Laulima, which is involved in planning and resolving human service issues through
its committees and active monthly meeting
.
Our Goal Statement
To keep the lines of communication open, to share information, develop positive
inter-agency relationships to meet the needs of the youths and families of
Moku o Kona.
Our Approach
Hui Laulima is a formal/informal consortium that meets monthly.
Participation is voluntary and open to members of the community. The Hui
recognizes the wisdom, knowledge, skills and experience of each individual and
strives to role model the spirit of laulima by working together for a common
purpose.

How Can You Get Involved?
By attending a Hui Laulima meeting on the first Friday of each month
from 10:30 to 12 noon at the Neighborhood Place of Kona, located in Kaiwi Square
in the Old Industrial area of Kailua.
